Sunday School Questions – Topic: Guidance

TOLBC believes that growth in the Christian faith is a life-long endeavor and that one of the places it can happen best is in Sunday School class. Sunday school is important in the spiritual development of Christians. It is the only place in most churches that gives a systematic, comprehensive, complete coverage of the Word of God. Currently we are studying “Wisdom for Today’s Issues: A Topical Arrangement of the Proverbs” by Stephen Voorwinde. “Wisdom For Today’s Issues.” Topic: Guidance

1. What is the definition of guidance? Is “gut feeling” the same as guidance?
2. How does God guide His people?
3. A Christian prays for guidance and he/she is convinced that the Lord is leading them in a particular direction, when they followed their conviction they discovered it was the wrong direction. Who’s fault is it: God, Satan or the person?
